1. I am a follower.

2.The special companions is cutie pie, Paris. What a great name~

3.I want to know more about Catherine de Medici by Christopher Gortner is because I've always heard bad things about her and her family. In so many historical cases, the people are given a bad wrap. They're not nearly as awful as they're rumored to be in our History books.

4. I would love to read this book, The Confessions of Catherine e Medici by Christopher Gortner.

I am a follower and I want to read this book because a. I love women in history. Period. b. I have heard great things about the author. Everyone I know loves his work. c. I think Catherine de Med. is an intriguing woman. She went thru a lot. All those kids.. all that drama and scandal. And the husband she put up with.. Amazing.

Gortner's companion is a corgi named Paris. He's a dog man. :)

I am pleased to have found this blog and I just signed up to follow through Google Reader. I loved Gortner's book about Juana and know this one will be great as well. I'd like to know more about Catherine de Medici. Mr. Gortner's companion is a darling corgi named Paris. Thanks for the giveaway.

This is my second try at leaving a comment. The first one didn't seem to take.

I'm glad to follow this blog -- I found you via the HT blog, I believe.

CW Gortner's companion is a dog named Paris.

I've always been curious about CdM, because I've got a soft spot for villainesses. (Wait, is that a word? My spell check says it isn't, but I'd swear it was...) I'd love to be entered in the drawing for Gortner's book -- I've heard great things!

3) Like the bumper sticker says "Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History". Would love to read a story about this strong willed woman. Famous not for being well liked. Great political maneverer and patron of the arts! Believed in a well rounded monarch

Who wouldn't want to learn more about Catherine de Medici? And Christopher Gortner is meticulous in his research, so I would want to read his book about her. Despite the gossip about her evil deeds, there must be a speck of good (or mental imbalance) in a woman who births so many babes.

I am a new follower, but I know that Christopher Gortner's companion's name is Paris (lovely name for a Welsh Corgi), and some say has a strong kinship with the Norwegian Lundehund.

I have been following Christopher's blog and web site for years now. He has introduced me to several HF authors, especially C.C. Humphries. C.W. has a photo of himself proudly posing with his pal, Paris the Corgi.

I am excited to read about this woman who has been so villainized and his take on her should bring a real understanding to her but also to events such as the Templar massacre.

Thans for this opportunity.
